The Medetai Train runs on the Kada Sakana Line, the affectionate name for the Nankai Electric Railway’s Kada Line.

The Kada Line officially begins at Kinokawa Station, but services start from Wakayama City Station, covering 9 stations over 12.2 km to Kada Station in about 26 minutes. Its relaxed pace lets you savor the scenery along the way.

    By using the Nankai Electric Railway, you can easily access Kada from both the Osaka and Wakayama directions.

    Access from Osaka

    From Namba

    The Nankai Main Line’s Limited Express “Southern” takes you from Namba to Wakayama City Station in about one hour.

    From Kansai Airport

    At Kansai Airport, take the Nankai Airport Line. Be careful not to mistakenly board a JR train.

    Once on the Nankai Airport Line, transfer at Izumisano Station (two stops later) to a train bound for Wakayama City Station. It takes about 30 minutes to reach Wakayama City Station.

    Access from JR Wakayama Station

    From JR Wakayama Station to Wakayama City Station, you can conveniently take either a train (Kisei Main Line) or a bus (Wakayama Bus).
